Who I support

My areas of work include Asian communities and immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, and older adults. I support people navigating acculturation and cultural identity, life transitions, anxiety and depression, self-esteem, and grief and loss.

How I work

My work is grounded in humanistic theory and the belief that people have an innate capacity for growth and healing. I begin by listening to your full story and recognizing your strengths. We can explore how cultural expectations, family dynamics, and oppression influence your struggles, helping you make more conscious and authentic choices. Depending on your goals, I bring in cognitive behavioral and solution-focused strategies. Throughout the process, we collaborate to reconnect with your resilience and strengths.

A note from Jiasheng

You may be feeling lost or exhausted by a persistent sense of “not enough,” or weighed down by something difficult to name. Taking a step toward understanding yourself takes courage. In this space, we can move gently, sort through those feelings, and try new ways of being. I would be honored to walk alongside you.
