Professional background

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University and have gained practical experience in diverse clinical settings. I have worked in adult mental health with people living with long-term, severe mental illness and complex psychosocial challenges, supporting them as they seek stability, dignity, and support in daily life. I have also worked with children ages 5–11, focusing on social-emotional learning (SEL) and emotion regulation to help them build self-awareness and interpersonal connection during a formative stage.

How I work

I value building a genuine and safe relationship with clients. I believe everyone has the potential for self-understanding and growth, and I hope to be a companion and witness on your healing journey. My style is warm and attentive, integrating trauma-informed care and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and adapting flexibly to each client’s unique needs.

A note from Sihan

Mental health challenges do not define who you are, and you do not have to carry them alone. I hope to walk with you as we see, understand, and move through moments that are hard to put into words, toward a more empowered self.
