The experience behind the work
Sharon is a graduate student at Stanford University. Her academic research focuses on Chinese women’s history and Chinese LGBTQ+ history.
She heads the Advocacy & Impact Team at the U.S. National Office of Asian Women Development Plan International (AWDPI), a global nonprofit working to end gender-based violence and discrimination against Asian women.
Her public service and advocacy experience includes work with feminist and LGBTQ+ organizations and immigration nonprofits.
Sharon is committed to empowering marginalized communities in the U.S., including gender and sexual minorities and immigrants, with particular attention to the Chinese American immigrant community.

Yanling (Sharon) Feng is a graduate student at Stanford University. Her academic research focuses on Chinese women’s history and Chinese LGBTQ+ history.
